Wood Lane Foundation
The Wood Lane Foundation was established in 1997. While we continue to receive significant support from voters in Wood County, individuals and groups have the opportunity to establish funds to support individuals served for specified purposes. In addition, an unrestricted fund was also established. The Foundation will continue to grow through contributions and only the interest from funds will be used to support programs.
The Restle Fund
The late Charles Restle donated the initial $20,000 in memory of his wife, Bernadine, in order to establish the Foundation. His wish, which is being honored each year, is that the interest from this account is utilized to meet social and recreational needs of individuals served through Wood Lane Residential Services, Inc.
The Dolores A. Black Special Olympics Internship Fund
The Dolores A. Black Special Olympics Internship Fund was established in 1999 and is used to support a full-time undergraduate student internship for one semester. The Internship is given to a BGSU sport management or physical education major.
The William G. Clifford Fund
The William G. Clifford Fund was established in 2008 and will provide BGSU students the opportunity for experience working with adults who have a developmental disability.
The Judy and John Kevern Fund The Judy and John Kevern Fund was established in 2003 in memory of Mrs. Kevern. The Fund will benefit programs offered by the Wood Lane Adult Services program.
Families and other supporters can have a lasting impact on future programs and services by donating to the Foundation. The Wood Lane Foundation is a registered 501 (c) (3) charity and all contributions are tax deductible in accordance with federal law.
